What we believe

GOD
We believe the one true and living God is creator and sustainer of all. Ever existing and possessing power, knowledge and love without limit. God is revealed to us in the mystery of the trinity, distinct but inseparable, as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

JESUS
We believe that Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, who came to earth in human flesh to reveal God to us and to restore all of fallen humanity to a personal relationship with God. Jesus was conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, so he is both fully human and fully God. Jesus lived a sinless life, showing us the truth about God. He willingly died on the cross to demonstrate God's love for us and to provide salvation for all sinful humanity. His sacrifice in our place provides the means foe all to be reconnected to their loving Creator. We believe in the physical resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Jesus ascended into heaven, where he rules as our Lord. He will return to earth in the future to restore God's Kingdom for all time.

THE HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the divine personhood of the Holy Spirit as an equal part of the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is Gad present and living within each follower to empower a lifestyle that reflects the values and character of Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the power that enables the mind of believers to understand and apply God's word. The Spirit brings change in the lives of Jesus followers, making us more and more like him. God's Spirit is constantly at work within he Church and in the world to realize God's plan of redemption for all creation.

THE BIBLE
We believe the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the inspired word of God. The Holy Spirit guided the writers of the Bible, and infuses their written words with divine power. The Scriptures reveal God's love and desire to be in relationship with us, as well as his instructions for living the Christian life.

THE CHURCH
We believe the Church is a spiritual entity made up of all those in a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, who are called to live in fellowship and worship together. We believe in the priesthood of all believers; everyone in relationship with Christ is gifted, empowered and called to serve God's mission to reach the world. The Church is God's instrument to embody his love and to bring justice and grace to all people.
