A little bit about Kevin and Kim:
Pastor Kevin graduated from Troy High School in Troy, Ohio; Ashland University with a business degree; and Louisville Theological Seminary with an M.Div.. Kim graduated from Lake Catholic High School, and earned her teaching degree from Ashland University. Kevin and Kim met in Florida while they were on Spring Break. They were married in 1983 at the beginning of seminary studies. They began serving in full time ministry at Eastview UMC in the Columbus, Ohio area. In 1994 they responded to God’s call and moved to Belle Center, where they have been blessed to minister and raise their family. They have four beautiful daughters, 3 son-in-laws a granddaughter and grandson. Kim is an awesome teacher at the Benjamin Logan Elementary School. Kevin coached football at Ashland H. S., football and girls soccer at Benjamin Logan H. S., and has driven a school bus as well. Since Kim is from the Cleveland area and Kevin was raised around Columbus the Smiths cheer for OSU and the Browns, Cavs, and Indians (hey,just wait, next year will be our year to win it all!). This is an exciting time for us at Belle Center UMC. God has brought us to the Jordan River and we’re just beginning our adventure of faith into the Promised Land.
